March Update!

Good Morning Team,
Over the past few weeks, I’ve found myself pulled in several directions—juggling decisions, meetings, and competing priorities. When that happens, I’ve learned it usually means I’ve drifted from what matters most: my purpose and values.
Back in January 2024, I shared my personal “why” with you all. It’s something I revisit often, especially when I need to recalibrate. And when I do, it brings me back. It gives me clarity on how to show up, where to invest my energy, and what to let go of.
Here’s my “why” statement that drives me every day:
I am driven to build financial security and a lasting legacy for my family, empower my agents to achieve their own legacies, and create a durable business that thrives for generations. I strive to lead with kindness, humility, and courage, knowing that stepping out of my comfort zone is necessary to serve others and make a greater impact. Through relentless action, I will create a community where agents feel supported, clients feel served, and we all grow together.
That “why” breaks into a few key themes:
1. Changing My Family Tree
I am motivated by more than short-term wins. I want to create generational change—financially, spiritually, and emotionally—for my family, my team, and my community.
2. Helping Others Build Their Legacies
Empowering agents to achieve financial security and professional growth is deeply personal for me.
Arriving at this “why” wasn’t easy. It took hours of reflection and the guidance of a business coach. But it’s made everything clearer.
And here’s the good news: it’s easier than ever to create your own. With tools like ChatGPT, you can explore your own purpose by simply prompting it with the right questions.
Prompts for ChatGPT
You can share these straight with ChatGPT to help shape your “why”:
- "I’m in real estate and I want my work to mean more than just closings. Can you help me uncover my deeper purpose and turn it into a mission statement?"
- "Ask me questions to help me clarify my core purpose and write a personal mission I can share with my team."

Transaction Management Just Got Smarter
This month, we’re excited to share a powerful update that will elevate the transaction experience for both agents and clients.
Our incredible Virtual Assistants—each with nearly 5 years of dedication to the team—are stepping into a more expanded role alongside our Transaction Coordinators. From day one of the file intake process, our VAs will now:
Send confirmations on missing documents
Initiate document requests directly to clients
Track earnest money deposits
Ensure title commitments are received
Order home warranties when needed
These changes are designed to take the burden off our agents, allowing our Transaction Coordinators to be even more hands-on throughout the deal. The result? A smoother, more complete transaction from the start—and more time for agents to focus on building relationships and closing deals.
Meet the VA Team Behind the Magic
Aileen – Detail-oriented and quietly consistent, Aileen ensures nothing slips through the cracks. She brings a calm, focused energy to the transaction process and a creative spark from her hobby of building miniatures—check out her work on her YouTube channel, Minifuntasy. She’s also a proud music lover and thrives in the work-from-home life that allows her to focus deeply on supporting the team.
Andre – A steady, reliable presence, Andre brings precision and efficiency to every file. He’s a fan of structure, systems, and a good cup of Arabica coffee (medium roast, of course). A skilled guitarist and Paramore fan, Andre believes in developing strong, consistent skills—and it shows in his daily contribution to the team’s success.
Hydee – Based in the peaceful countryside of the Philippines, Hydee left the city grind behind and found her rhythm working from home—a lifestyle that perfectly suits this proud introvert and night owl. Living in a multi-generational household, she’s a natural multitasker who handles our listing files with care and detail. Off the clock, she enjoys managing her small backyard farm and baking her signature buko pie. Her calm presence and sharp eye are a huge asset to our listing department.

Not making the connection
“We asked 1,000 homeowners what they worried about most when buying their home. The results seem about right... or do they? We think it’s telling that only 4% of people worried most about picking a bad agent, even though one’s choice here precedes, and strongly influences, many of the things people claim to fear more. In other words (and we have plenty of other evidence to support this), people don’t really get what a good agent does, what a bad agent doesn’t do, and how that drives outcomes. Sounds like a marketing opportunity to us.”
Must Listen/Watch

So I listened to this webinar with Phil Jones, author of Exactly What to Say, while I was driving to the east valley. Thank you for self driving, because I was taking a ton of notes! Phil answers the questions on what to say when someone asks you, “How’s the Market?”. (at the 10:15 mark) You’ve heard of an elevator pitch, but have you heard of an elevator rant? (14:30) Also, how to turn those online buyer leads to seller opportunities!(17:15) Give it a listen.
